  4. Description of Mission:

  6. One of our outposts on Mars has been
  7. infected by a computer virus. Scientists
  8. there were in the process of examining the
  9. core memory of one of the captured bots,
  10. when they triggered a security program
  11. that inserted this virus into all of the
  12. vital outpost systems. This virus seems
  13. to be the cause of all our recent problems.
  14. The group of scientists on the martian
  15. colony have sent a distress call requesting
  16. rescue procedures be initiated. The group
  17. is quite small, and Professor Kulas has told
  18. us that half of their group hasn't made it to
  19. the emergency bunker.  He believes that the
  20. robots most likely captured them and are
  21. holding them somewhere within the complex.

  23. Your mission is to rescue the hostages,
  24. cleanse the outpost of any infected bots,
  25. then blow the reactor, and make it out
  26. alive.
  27.  
  28. This is probably going to be one of the hardest
  29. missions we've sent you on, PTMC Defender, so
  30. watch your back. We are inserting you only about
  31. 8 hours after the infection, so traps will
  32. probably be at a minimum, but they have had
  33. plenty of time to deploy their numbers in a
  34. defensive posture. Opposition will be heavy.
